What can I do for you?

Yes, my office will file plenty of bankruptcies. However, practically anyone can file a bankruptcy. People file without attorneys all the time. "Hey," you might say, "I am filing bankruptcy I can't afford an attorney!" To the skeptics out there, here is what I can do for you:

Analyzing your Particular Circumstances

First, you and I are going to have a meeting. You and I are going to sit together and have a conversation. I am going to let you tell me what happened and why you have decided to seek my counsel. Then I am going to ask you a series of questions about what you own, who you owe, your personal income, and your expenses.

Recommended Course of Action

Maybe bankruptcy is the right course of action for you and maybe it isn't. Maybe a Chapter 13 bankruptcy would work better for you than a Chapter 7 bankruptcy. Maybe now is not the ideal time for you to file. After listening to you, I will give you personalized advice and your best options going forward. You make a decision after knowing all of your options.

Executing the Plan

Once you make the decision to employ me in your case, I will work with you to make sure you understand what needs to be done by the both of us to prepare your case for filing. I will inform you of the timeline of events going forward once your case has been filed. I will be there to personally advise you until your case has been completed.

Peace of Mind

You hire an attorney because you understand that important legal and financial decisions should be made after consultation with a professional. You know that your matter is being handled by a person with experience that has handled hundreds of cases over the past ten years. Can you file a bankruptcy without an attorney? Sure. But I would not recommend it.
